Who is DVM Technology Bhd?
DVM Technology is principally an IT company with speciality and focus in IT and communications solutions. Having been in operation since 1997, we are reputable and boast exhaustive customer record across the sectors of telco, enterprises, financial services industries and across the regions.


What do the initials DVM represent?
The initials represent Data, Voice and Multimedia - our vision of a future with a converged communication culture, utilizing a common infrastructure to transform the way we communicate with family, business partners and customers. It is the growth of such a culture that calls for a breed of new communication tools, applications and functionalities.


What is Genico®?
Genico® is DVM Technology's flagship application suite of IP-based communication applications and solutions optimized for Next Generation Networks (NGNs). It caters for telecommunication carriers, mobile operators, service providers and large to medium sized orgaizations. Genico® was first introduced in 2004


What are the solutions in Genico®?

  • Broadband Telephony: Genico® Broadband Telephony is an IP-based broadband telephony solution, complete with a customizable front-end client. It offers a seamless integration of Genico® packet-based communication services with any legacy circuit-based system currently in use by the telecommunication carrier, mobile operator or service provider.

  • 3G Mobile Services: Genico® 3G Pocketsports is an interactive 3G sports video application service, complete with authoring and media management features. It caters to service providers who can now receive, personalize and stream 3G sports video clips which matches sport fans’ psyche. In this way, it is more compelling and encourages subscribers to adopt 3G services from these Genico® powered service providers.

  • Value-added communication services for telcos like:

    • Genico® MRBT, a packet-based music ring back tone service which can be played on PSTN, GSM, CDMA, IP devices and even on Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) phones;

    • Genico® Music4Us, a packet-based background music service which plays a subscriber-chosen musical background while a conversation is ongoing;

    • Genico® LiveContact, a user intuitive and carrier-grade fully configurable SIP front-end user client, which can be customized for telcos who want to encourage take up of broadband communication from their subscribers;

  • • Core communication components for telcos like:

    • Genico® PowerBase, a powerful service delivery platform. It is in essence a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) communication registrar and proxy server which is fully compliant with RFC 3261 SIP. It is linked and enables the services offered within Genico® IPCentrex and Genico® VoiceVPN.

    • Genico® IPCentrex, an application to determine communication parameters between users and as such is effectively a rules-based call control centre. Based on these rules, it can allow or deny user call privileges. It is a software-based central exchange which either accepts or hands-off call or messaging requests between users and external parties, who may be using analog phones or a variety of Integrated Access Devices (IADs) and Internet Protocol (IP) phones.

    • Genico® VoiceVPN regulates the identities and access mode of Genico® users. It works to authenticate and secure the use of Genico® call services in an enclosed and secure virtual sphere in a virtual private network (VPN) mode. As such, Genico® users must first log into Genico® by means of using a VPN dialer in order to access Genico® call and messaging services.
